Chicken Lollipop Recipe

Chicken Lollipop is generally considered a delicacy, although not everyone might know that this chicken dish is made from chicken wings. Chicken lollipops are considered a staple dish and are prepared in a simpler manner compared to chicken lollipop recipes in India and other countries. This chicken recipe is very similar to Asian fried chicken, although it takes more time and effort to prepare. It is necessary to cut the chicken wings and arrange the meat on one end of the bone. This is usually done by loosening the flesh from one end of the bone and forcefully pushing it toward the other. Children like this dish very much. Chicken Lollypop Recipe Ingredients:

10 chicken wings
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon red chili sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 egg
4 tablespoons cornflour
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
For Garnish:
Spring onions (chopped)
Sesame seeds

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken

Clean and separate the chicken wings into two parts - drumettes and flats.

Make a small cut at the joint and push the meat towards the top to create the lollypop shape.

Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, Ma Spices Chicken Lollipop Paste, red chili sauce, vinegar, and a pinch of salt.
Add the chicken lollypops to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.

Prepare the Batter

In another bowl, beat the egg and add cornflour, all-purpose flour, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to form a smooth batter.

Coat the Chicken

Heat oil for deep frying.
Dip each marinated chicken lollypop into the batter, ensuring it's well-coated.
Deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Fry in batches to maintain the oil temperature.

Garnish and Serve

Once fried, place the chicken lollypops on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.

Serve Hot

Serve the Chicken Lollypops hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
